Jose Martinez - Guitar

Jose's Bio

   Guitar player for 7 years now, Jose Martinez
brings his influence of guitar legends such as Joe
Satriani, Al Di Meola, Paul Gilbert, and John
Petrucci to Colorblind Studios. A teacher for
students of any skill level from beginner to
advanced, Jose makes sure that the student leaves
each lesson with something challenging, yet fun to
go home with.
   Jose took private lessons for 4 years from local
guitarist Chris Meek, and has been attending DVC
for 2 years. Jose played in the alternative rock
group
A Place To Call Home for one year and is
now involved in a progressive metal group with Nate
called
Black Sand.

Nate Galovich - Bass
Nate's Bio

   A ten year player of the electric bass, and seven
year player of the double bass, Nate has touched on
a wide range of musical styles ranging from funk to
metal,  jazz, and bluegrass. Originally a guitar
player, Nate found the world of bass to be very
rewarding soon after playing for the rock group
Phosgene Factor. He later helped form another rock
group called Passenger while beginning music
classes at DVC. Nate attended DVC for 4 years.
Having taken several music theory classes and
playing the stand up bass in the Jazz Big Band
class, as well as being involved in many other
projects, Nate has a wide range of musical
experience under his belt. He is currently involved in
the alternative rock group
A Place To Call Home,
and in a progressive metal group with Jose called
Black Sand.
